Life is Alive

The birds are chirping and chattering excitedly.
Wind blowing through the trees.
Sun providing a blanket of warmth.
A dog barks a warning in the distance.
Life is alive.
Millions of little creatures unseen to the naked eye.
But I know they’re there.
Gathering food and supplies.
Going about their day.
Life is alive.
It doesn’t matter if we stop.
Or pause to witness.
It doesn’t matter if we care.
Life continues on.
